RESOLUTION NO. 3231
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAXLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, REJECTING ALL BIDS ON CONTRACT NO. 1015, THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF TAMARACK AVENUE AND PI0 PIC0 DRIVE
WHEREAS, bids were opened on September 18, 1973 for installa-
tion of traffic signals at the intersection of Tamarack Ave. and
Pi0 Pic0 Dr.; and
WHEREAS, the low bid of $27,444.00, submitted by Perry
Electric, was approximately 19% over the engineer's estimate of
$23,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the available funds in the amount of $25,600 are
insufficient to accomplish the construction;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
All bids received for subject contract are rejected.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at anbegular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California held the 5th day
of October , 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Lewis and Chase.
NOES : None.
