The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad did on June 19, 1973 adopt Resolution No. 3153 adopting a salary plan for the City for the 1973-74 fiscal year; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 3153 dated June 19, 1973, is amended by the addition of the job classificatio CHILDREN'S LIBRARIAN, Salary Range 32, and a salary range ad- justment for the existing job classification, SECRETARY TO THE CITY MANAGER, to Salary Range 24, as set forth on Exhibits "A" and "B" attached and incorporated herein. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held November 7, 1973, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Cmn. Exhibit "A" 0 CARLSNAD CITY LIBRARY CITY OF CARLSBAD CH I LDREN ' S L I BRARI AN (LIBRARIAN 11) Definition This is a professional class in the library series with full responsibility to plan and carry out services to children within the program of library operation and in conference with the City Librarian. 1, 3, ' 4, 5, 6. 7. a. 9. 10 Plans, organizes and carries out library services and programs for children. Reviews, selects, and orders books and materials for chi 1 dren' s s.ection. Performs reference work and cataloging for the children's section. Exhibit "B I' 0 SECRETARY TO THE CITY ILZNAGER Definition This is an advanced level secretarial class in the clerical series with duties involving the performance of services for the City Manager, and doing related work as required.
