APPLICANT: ROBERT D. STOCKTON. WHEREAS, a duly advertised public hearing was held on January 8, 1974 before the Planning Commission to consider a request for a change of zone from R-1 to RD-M on property locatec it390 Chinquapin Avenue, and more generally located at the north- qest intersection of Chinquapin Avenue and the AT&SF Railroad right-of-way, and more particularly described as: All that portion of Lot 5 in Block "S" of Palisades No. 2 in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to map thereof No. 1803, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, August 25, 1924. WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said hearing the Planning :omission of the City of Carlsbad adopted Resolution No. 1027 recommending said zone change which is herewith referred to and nade a part hereof; and WHEREAS, on the 5th day of February, 1974, the City Zouncil held a public hearing on the matter, received all recom- nendations and heard all persons interested in or opposed to :he proposed change of zone; and WHEREAS, said application has complied with the require- nents of the City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance If 1972 and has been declared to have a nonsignificant impact In the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the 3ity of Carlsbad as follows: 1.
