A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 3098 BY THE AMENDMENT OF
EXHIBITS A, B, C, D, AND E THERETO TO
REVISE THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT
FORM, GUIDELINES FOR DETERMINING WHETHER
OR NOT A PROPOSED PROJECT INVOLVES A
SIGNIFICANT ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECT, GUIDE- LINES FOR THE PREPARATION OF A PRELIMINARY
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT, CONTENTS OF
AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT AND FEES FOR PROCESSING PROJECTS, ALL AS REQUIRED BY THE AMENDED GUIDELINES ISSUED BY THE
SECRETARY OF THE RESOURCES AGENCY PURSUANT
TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
ACT OF 1970.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on
April 3, 1973, adopted Resolution No. 3098 establishing procedures
for processing projects under Title 19 of the Municipal Code,
"The City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972",
pursuant to guidelines issued by the Secretary of the Resources
Agency; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality
Act of 1970 as amended, the Secretary of the State of California
Resources Agency has issued amended guidelines effective Febru-
ary 15, 1974, revising the objectives and criteria for the imple-
mentation of said Act; and
WHEREAS, said amended guidelines obligate the City to
adopt, no later than February 15, 1974, objectives, criteria and
procedures for implementating said Act in accord with said amend-
ments,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Resolution No. 3098 is amended by the amendment
of Exhibits A, B, C, D, and E thereto as follows:
A. Exhibit A to Resolution No. 3098, an Environmental
Impact Assessment form, is revised in accord with the document
marked "Exhibit A Revised February 15, 1974" which is attached
hereto and incorporated by reference herein and hereby adopted
for use in the City of Carlsbad.
€3. Exhibit B to Resolution No, 3098, guidelines for
determining whether or not a project involves a significant effect
on the environment, is revised in accord with the document marked
"Exhibit B Revised February 15, 1974'' which is attached hereto
and incorporated by reference herein, and hereby adopted for use
in the City of Carlsbad.
C. Exhibit C to Resolution No, 3098, a fomfor the
preparation of a Preliminary Environmental Impact Report, is
revised in accord with the document marked "Exhibit C Revised
February 15, 1974" which is attached hereto and incorporated by
reference herein, and hereby adopted for use in the City of
Carlsbad.
D. Exhibit D to Resolution No. 3098, guidelines for
the contents of an Environmental Impact Report, is revised in
xcord with the document marked "Exhibit D Revised February 15,
1974" which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference
herein, and hereby adopted for use in the City of Carlsbad.
E. Exhibit E to Resolution No. 3098, a fee schedule
for processing projects under the City of Carlsbad Environmental
Protection Ordinance of 1972, is revised in accord with the docu-
nent marked "Exhibit E Revised February 15, 1974" which is at-
tached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, and hereby
3dopted for use in the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
