HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-02-19; City Council; Resolution 33641 2 ? c1 4 5 6 7 E s 1c 11 12 12 2c 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 I- V - RESOLUTION NO. 3364 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND SUBMIT TO THE CALIFORNIA COUNCIL ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD THE APPLI- CATION FOR CRIME SPECIFIC BURGLARY PROJECT CCCJ GRANT 1476 FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the California Council on Criminal Justice may consent to review for possible funding the project submitted by the City of Carlsbad, California, referred to as Crime Specific Burglary Project CCCJ Grant 1476; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows: 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and submit to the California Council on Criminal Justice on behalf of the City of Carlsbad, California, the application for Crime Speci- fic Burglary Project CCCJ Grant 1476 for law enforcement purposes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in the event the California Council on Criminal Justice consents to fund the above project, the City of Carlsbad, California, agrees to accept the grant and designates the Mayor to execute on behalf of the City of Carlsbad, California, the contract for the Crime Specific Burglary Project CCCJ Grant 1476 for law enforcement purposes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the applicant agrees to pro- vide the required matching funds to said project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that grant funds received here- under shall not be used to supplant ongoing law enforcement ex- penditures.
