HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-05-21; City Council; Resolution 34201( 1: 1; 1: 2c i- - 0 21 22 2: 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO, 3420 A =SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL F THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION ON A SPECIFIC PLAN (SP-157) FOR UNIT 4 OF ALTAMIRA ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF LOWDER (PASEO DEL NORTE) LANE AND CAMINO DE LAS ONDAS. APPLICANT: FINANCIAL SCENE, INC. WHEREAS, a duly advertised public hearing was held on April 23, 1974, before the Planning Commission to consider adoptio of a Specific Plan (SP-157) to allow development of a 400-unit condominium complex known as Altamira Unit No. 4 on property locat ed at the northwest corner of the intersection of Lowder (Paseo Del Norte) Lane and Camino De Las Ondas and more particularly de- scribed as: A portion of Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Meridian, according to Map No. 7303, filed in the office of the San Diego County Recorder, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, more particularly described on file in the City Planning office; and WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said hearing on April 23, 1974, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad adopted Resolution No. 1062 recommending adoption of said plan which is herewith referred to and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, on the 21 st day of May , 1974, the City Zouncil held a duly advertised public hearing on the matter and received all recommendations and heard all persons interested in 3r opposed to the proposed Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, said application has complied with the require- nents of the City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance Df 1972 and has been declared to have a nonsignificant impact on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the 2ity of Carlsbad as follows: 1, 2. That the above recitations are true and correct. That the findings of the Planning Commission as set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No, 1062 constitute the findings of the City Council. 3. That the approval of the proposed Specific Plan is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code. 4. That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad intends to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed Specific Plan subject to certain conditions.
