RESOLUTION NO. 3472
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY 0% CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY TO INVITE BIDS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BEACH ACCESS STAIR-
WAY AT OCEAN STREET AND GRAND AVENUE,
CONTRACT NO. 1022
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has deter-
mined that it is necessary and in the public interest to construct
a beach access stairway at Ocean Street and Grand Avenue; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishings of all
labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation and other expense
necessary or incidental for said project, Contract No. 1022, have
been prepared and been filed in the Public Works Department of the
City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans and specifications as presented are hereby
approved.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
authorized and directed to proceed to publish in accordance with
law, notice to contractors inviting for bids for the construction
of a beach access stairway at Ocean Street and Grand Avenue, here-
inafter described, in accordance with the plans and specifications
hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held the -I 6th day of August I
19'74, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, McComas, Lewis and Skotnicki
