have been prepared by the Police Department and the Mechanical
Maintenance Division; and
WHEREAS, said specifications have been filed in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated
by reference herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined that it is necessary and in the public interest to
acquire Police Patrol Vehicles;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the specifications as presented are hereby
approved.
3. That the Purchasing Agent of the City of Carlsbad
is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to publish in
accordance with law, notice to vendors inviting for bids for
the equipment herein above described, in accordance with the
specifications herein above referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held January 7, 1975,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis and McComas.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Skotnicki. ’
