HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-03-04; City Council; Resolution 36071 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1c 11 12 12 14 15 1E 17 le 19 2c 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 i, RESOLUTION NO. 3607 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA RESCINDING A CONTRACT AWARDED TO WESELOH CHEVROLET AND ACCEPTING A BID AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF DUMP TRUCKS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determined that it is necessary and in the public interest to rescind the contract awarded to Weseloh Chevrolet for the purchase of three 2 Ton Dump Trucks; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the contract heretofore awarded on February 4, 1975, pursuant to Resolutions 3587 and 3588 for the purchase of three 2 Ton Dump Trucks is hereby rescinded. 3. That the bid of Dixon Ford is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for the purchase of three 2 Ton Dump Trucks at a cost of $9,669.40 each, plus tax, less trade in of $2,554.00 for a total cost of $28,194.69. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on March 4, 1975, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis, Skotnicki and rum: None ABSENT: None Counci 1 woman Cas1 er ATTEST: A (SEAL+’
