RESOLUTION NO. 3648
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
CONTRACT #lo24 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A
BEACH ACCESS STAIRWAY
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for
construction of a beach access stairway, located at Elm Ave. and
Ocean St., Contract #1024; and,
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this construction was sub-
mitted by L.R. Hubbard, Jr. in the amount of $11,742: and,
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $18,000 were budgeted in FY
74-75 for this project:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $11,742 by L.R. Hubbard, Jr. of San Diego for
Contract #1024, for construction of a beach access stairway,
located at Elm Ave. and Ocean St. is hereby accepted and the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract
therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 20thday - of May , 197i
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis, Skotnicki and
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
