RESOLUTION NO. 3654
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT #lo25
FOR ASPHALT CONCRETE OVERLAY OF VARIOUS CITY
STREETS
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for
asphalt concrete overlay of various City streets, Contract #1025;
and,
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this construction was sub-
mitted by A&L Asphalt Company DBA Asphalt Service in the amount
of $99,914.80; and,
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $100,000 were budgeted in FY
74-75 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $99,914.80 by A&L Asphalt Company DBA Asphalt
Service of Oceanside for Contract #1025, for asphalt concrete over
lay of various City streets is hereby accepted and the Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 3rd day of June
1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Counci 1 men Frazee, Chase, Lewis, Skotnicki and Councilwoman Cas1 er.
NOES : None.
ABSENT: None.
