RESOLUTION NO. 3669
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING
MEMBERS TO THE PERSONNEL BOARD.
WHEREAS, Section 2.44.025 of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code provides for a Personnel Board of five members to be
appointed by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Section 2.44.025 provides further that the
first Board to be appointed shall by lot determine the rela-
tive length of term of each member to accommodate staggered
terms; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has determined to activate the
Personnel Board and make the initial appointments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following persons are hereby appointed to
serve as members of the Personnel Board:
Jack Osuna for a term to expire
Gerald C. McCl e llan for a term to expire
George 1. lona, Sr. for a term to expire
lerrv nm n .is for a term to expire
Margaret Bonas for a term to expire
3. That the City Manager is directed to call a meeting of
the Personnel Board as soon as possible. At that meeting the
Board members shall determine by lot: The Board member whose
term will expire June 30, 1976; the Board member whose term will
expire June 30, 1977; the Board member whose terms will expire
June 30, 1978; and the two Board members whose terms will expire
June 30, 1979.
will complete this resolution by inserting the proper expiration
date for the term of each member as determined by the Board.
At the conclusion of the meeting the City Manager
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
the Carlsbad City Council held on the 1st day of July , 1975
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis, Skotnicki and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT: None
