Section 4. The committee shall consist of a chairman appointed
~y the Mayor with the consent and concurrence of the Council, and a
nembership whose total shall be constituted by that number which
xovides for two designated representatives from each school and
{outh club in the City. Such representatives shall be confirmed for
lppointment by a voice vote of the Council, the majority of the
Zouncil present at the time the vote was taken concurring. The

RESOLUTION NO. 3683
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA CREATING
AND ESTABLISHING THE MAYOR'S YOUTH COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, this committee was established in September, 1970
2y authority of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it is the purpose of this committee to express the
ieeds of youth in the community on matters affecting the youth

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
:ity of Carlsbad, California as follows:
Section 1, A City committee known as the Mayor's Youth
2"ittee is authorized and will be appointed by the authority
sf the City Council.
Section 2, This committee shall be an advisory committee
:omposed of members from the City of Carlsbad's schools and
louth clubs.
Section 3, This committee shall be charged with making
recommendations to the Council for those matters affecting the
louth of the community as related to City functions.

members to any subcommittee as he deems necessary and appropriate.
Section 5. Meetings shall be governed by Robert's Rules of
Order.
