RESOLUTION NO. 3686
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING
AN INTERIM SALARY PLAN FOR THE CITY FOR
THE 1975-76 FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City Council through the City Manager is
mgaged in a process of meet and confer negotiations with three
?mployee groups regarding salaries for the 1975-76 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, it is unlikely that the negotiations will be
:oncluded before the start of said year and it is desirable to
:ontinue negotiations past that date; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary in order to adopt a preliminary
>peratin9 budget to establish an interim salary plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
:ity of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the "City of Carlsbad Classification and Salary
tange Schedule Fiscal Year 1974-75" adopted by the City by
lesolution No. 3444 is hereby adopted as the interim salary plan
tor Fiscal Year 1975-76.
3. That the City intends to consider changes to that
schedule resulting from the ongoing meet and confer negotiations
ind budgetary processes and intends that any resultant salary
increases will be incorporated in the final salary plan for Fiscal
Zear 1975-76.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
:arlsbad City Council held on the 1 st day of July , 1975,
