WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $21,000 are available in Acct.
W270 for this project;
.I) RESOLUTION NO. 3748
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT #lo26 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A WATER LINE IN SKYLINE
DRIVE FROM BIRCH AVENUE TO ALDER AVENUE.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for
installation of a water line in Skyline Drive, Contract #1026; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this construction was sub-
mitted by Carlsbad Pipelines, Inc. in the amount of $17,961.00;
and ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $17,961.00 by Carlsbad Pipelines, Inc. of
Carlsbad, California for Contract #lo26 for installation
of a water line in Skyline Drive is hereby accepted and
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
a contract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 16th day of September ,
1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Chase , Lewis, Skotnicki and Councilwoman
NOES: None Casler
ABSENT: Councilman Frazee
