HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-10-07; City Council; Resolution 375612 n 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 3756 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY. WHEREAS, on September 4, 1975, Michael John Potter through his attorney filed a claim against the City of Carlsbad in the amount of $45,000.00; and WHEREAS, State law requires that the City Council consider all claims and take action to approve, approve in part, or deny said claim; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the City Council has considered the facts and zircumstances of the above-described claim. 3. That the City Council hereby denies said claim. 4. That the City Attorney is directed to forward a copy Df this resolution to the claimant and to the City's insurance iarrier and to comply with all other notice requirements provided ~y law. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the 3ity of Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of October , 1975, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Chase, Lewis, Skotnicki and Councilwoman NOES: None Casler ABSENT: Councilman Frazee ITTEST : /-
