WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, on the 7th day of January, 1975 adopted Resolution No. 3566 approving witt- conditions Tentative Map (CT 74-21); and WHEREAS, the subdivider has requested a one-year extension of such map from January 7, 1976 to January 7, 1977; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to extend such map subject to add i t iona 1 cond i t ions ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows: A. That the above recitations are true and correct. 9. That Tentative Map (CT 74-21) is hereby extended, subjeci to the execution and/or fulfillment of all the conditions of Resolution No. 3566 and the following conditions: 1. All areas indicated on the Master Plan MP-153 (Exhibil D, dated 10-22-74) as greenbelt falling within the boundaries of CT 74-21 shall be rezoned to Open Space (0-S) zoning prior to fina map approval. 2. In order to reduce fire hazard, the appl icant or his successor in interest shall agree to selectively clear underbrush and debris from open space areas prior to issuance of any building or grading permits. This brush and debris clearance shall be an ongoing activity and shall be done under the guidance of the Parks and Recreation Department and Fire Department. Successor in interest shall mean owner of record or appl icable property owner's association. 3. The applicant shall submit a landscaping and irriga- tion plan to the Parks and Recreation Director for his approval covering all denuded-natural and constructed slope areas prior to the approval of the final subdivision grading plan. Said plan shall include a statement of installation phasing and shall includt landscaping that wi 11 satisfy erosion and fire hazard controls. 4. The applicant or his successor in interest shall main. tain all landscaping to the satisfaction of the City Parks and Recreation Director. Successor in interest shal 1 mean owner of record or appl icable property owner's association. C. That said tentative map extension together with the pro- visions for its design and improvement and subject to the above conditions, is consistent with allapplicable general and specific plans of the City of Carlsbad.
