RESOLUTION NO. 3805
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO MAKE A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE OF AN ELECTRIC VOTING SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined that it is necessary and in the public interest to
purchase an electric voting system; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the City for said electric
voting system can only be met by the FORES-MANufacturing
Company; 207 West Pearl Street; Pomona, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Purchasing Agent of the City of Carlsbad
is hereby authorized and directed to negotiate for the purchase
of said electric voting system.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on December 16,
1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis, Skotnicki and
NOES: None
Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT: None
