RESOLUTION NO. 3816 --
territory that is in part the same; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 4 (commencing at Section
23300), Part 2, Division 12 of the Elections Code and Article 3
(commencing at Section 1331), Chapter 6, Division 4 of the
Education Code, whenever a school district election is scheduled
to be held the same day in the same territory or in territory
that is in part the same, as an election or elections called to
be held by any other district, city, county or other political
subdivision, the County Superintendent of Schools, on request of
the school district and approval of consent by the otherpolitical
subdivision, shall effect such consolidation; NON THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of law
cited above, the approval of consent of this Council is given to
the consolidation of that portion of the Oceanside-Carlsbad
Community College District election to be held on Tuesday, March 2,
1976, in the same territory, or in territory that is in part the
same, as the election called to be held in the City of Carlsbad
on the same day.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AND CONSENTING TO CONSOLIDATION OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON MARCH 2, 1976, WITH THE
DISTRICT ELECTION.
OCEANSIDE-CARLSBAD COMMUNITY COLLEGE
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has called an election to
be held on March 2, 1976; and
WHEREAS, the Oceanside-Carlsbad Community College
District has called an election to be held the same date in

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of this
Council is hereby directed to deliver forthwith certified copies
of this resolution to the governing board of the Oceanside-
Carlsbad Community College District, to the County Superintendent
of Schools, and to the Registrar of Voters.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City ofcarlsbad, this 15th day of December . , 1975, by
the following vote:
