=SOLUTION NO. 3842
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT! OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SPECI-
FICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CI'IY CLERK TO
INVITE BIDS FOR GENERATORS TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY
POWER TO SEWER LIFT STATIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has deter-
mined that it is necessary and in the public interest to provide
generators for emergency power to sewer lift stations; and
WHEREAS, specifications for the furnishing of all labor,
material, tools, equipment, transportation and other expense
necessary or incidental for said project have been prepared and
filed in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and
are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

That the specifications as presented are hereby approved.
That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
authorized and directed to proceed to publish in accordance with
law, notice to contractors inviting bids for generators to provide
emergency power to sewer lift stations, hereinafter described,
in accordance with the specifications hereabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held the 3rd
day of February , 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
