RESOLUTION NO. 3858
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ESTABLISHING THE
FUNCTIONS OF THE HOUSING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as created and established a Housing Commission by adoption of
rdinance No. 1189;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
ity of Carlsbad that the functions of the Housing Commission shall
nclude, but not be restricted to, the following:

Review the annual budget and any budget revisions
of the Housing Authority of the City of Carlsbad,
and make recommendations to the Housing Authority
of the City of Carlsbad with respect to those documents.
Review biannual and annual fiscal reports of the City of Carlsbad Housing Authority required by the llepartment of Housing and Urban Development.
Review any proposed policy changes of the Housing Authority of the City of Carlsbad and make
recommendations to the Housing Authority of the
City of Carlsbad regarding said policies.
Assess, at least once yearly, the need for additional subsidized housing in the City of Carlsbad and make
appropriate recommendations to the City of Carlsbad
Housing Authority.
Review any requests for owner rental increases and
make recommendations to the City of Carlsbad Housing
Authority.
The Housing Commission shall advise and make
recommendations to the commissioners of the
Housing Authority or the City Council as either
body may request on matters relating to the
activities of the Housing Authority.
