A -#SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AMENDING
RESOLUTION N0.3700 BY AMENDMENT OF THE
CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY RANGE SCHEDULE
TO ADD THE POSITION OF PARK SUPERINTENDENT,
AT SALARY RANGE 36, AND TO CHANGE THE POSI-
TION OF PARR FOREMAN FROM SALARY IIAI’JGE 36 to SALARY RANGE 32.
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the
City Council concurs that the Classification and Salary
Range Schedule be amended by the addition of the position
of Park Superintendent, at Salary Range 36, and to change
the position of Park Foreman from Salary Range 36 to
Salary Range 32, for the more efficient functioning of
the Parks and Recreation Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above facts are true and correct.
2. That the City Council authorizes and directs
the anenfiment of the City’s Classification and Salary
Range Schedule by the addition of the position of Park
Superintendent, at Salary Range 36, and to change the
position of Park Foreman from Salary Range 36 to Salary
Range 32, as described in the attached position descrip-
tions.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting
of the Carisbad City Council held on the 18th day of
May , 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki
NOES : None and Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT: None
