RESOLUTION NO. 3972
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING
A SALARY PLAN FOR LOCAL SAFETY POLICE
AND FIRE EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1976-
1977 AND RESCINDING PORTIONS OF RESOLUTION NO. 3700.
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution NO'S. 3970 and
3971 , approved Memorandums of Understanding regarding wages
and other terms and conditions of employment for Carlsbad
Firefighters Association and Carlsbad Police Officers' Assocint:j-on:
and
WHEREAS, it is now appropriate to implement that portion
of said memorandums providing for salary adjustments for local
public safety police and fire employees by the adoption of
an amended salary plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the revised Classification and Salary Range
Schedule as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto
and made a part hereof, is hereby adopted as the salary
plan of the City of Carlsbad for all local safety police
and fire employees, to be effective July 1, 1976.
3. That Resolution No. 3700, as amended, for local safety
police and fire employees is rescinded.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 20th day of July , 1976,
by the following vote, to wit:
