RESOLUTION NO. 3976
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
CONTRACT No. 1032 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
ELM AVENUE - VALLEY STREET TO DONNA DRIVE
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for
onstruction of Elm Avenue - Valley Street to Donna Drive,
ontract No. 1032; and,
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this construction was sub-
iitted by Asphalt Service Company in the amount of $393,728.20
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $474,600.00 were budgeted in
Y 1975-76, 1976-77 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
f Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $393,728.20 by Asphalt Service Company of
ceanside, California, for Contract No. 1032 for construction of
lm Avenue - Valley Street to Donna Drive is hereby accepted and
he Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract
here for.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
ouncil of the City of Carlsbad held the 3rd day of August I
976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES : None
Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT: None
