A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THAT THE AREA COMPRISING THE ANNEXATION
NATED AS THE SOUTH CARLSBAD ANNEXATION NO. 1.22 TO THE CITY OF CARLSBAD IS TO BE WITHDRAWN FROM LEUCADIA COUNTY WATER
"SOUTH CARLSBAD DETACHMENT NO. 1.23.
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIG-
DISTRICT EFFECTIVE AUGUST 6, 1976, -
WHEREAS, the real property described and known as the South
Carlsbad Annexation No. 1.22 has been annexed to the City of
Carlsbad, and such annexation proceedings were complete on March 8:
1976; and
WHEREAS, said property is situated in the Leucadia County
Water District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That under the statutory authority set forth in
Health and Safety Code Section 13952 the territory annexed by
the South Carlsbad Annexation No. 1.22 is hereby withdrawn from
the Leucadia County Water District effective August 6, 1976.
Said territory known as "South Carlsbad Detachment No. 1.23" is
legally described as follows:
That portion of Lot 1, Section 33, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Meridian, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to the Official Plat thereof described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence along the Eastline of said Lot 1
(1) South 0" 44' 59" East, 788.03 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot; thence

(2) North 69" 05' 40" West, 454.32 feet to an angle point
in the boundary of said Lot 1, said angle point being the Westerly terminus of that course shown as North 69' 58' 02" West, 454.38 feet on Record of Survey Map No. 1676 on file in the Office of the County Recorder of said County; thence continuing along said boundary
(3) South 33" 09' 27" West, 234.45 feet to an intersection with the Easterly line of Parcel 1 of that certain Lis Pendens recorded March 15, 1961, as Document No. 46721 of Official Records of said County; thence leaving said boundary along the Easterly line of said Parcel 1 the following courses:
(4) North 25' 27' 58" West, 88.85 feet; thence
(5) North 36" 16' 49" West, 353.55 feet; thence
(6) North 32' 46' 41" West, 561.91 feet to the Southwest corner ofcarlsbad Tract 73-24 according to Map thereof No. 7996 on file in the Office of the County Recorder of said County; thence leaving the Easterly line of said Parcel 1 along the boundary of said Map No. 7996 the f ol 1 owing courses :
(7) South 89' 10' 00" East, 1,103.34 feet to the POINT OF BEG INNING
Said parcelof land contains 13.31 acres more or less.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a copy
of this resolution with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of
San Diego County and to request that the resolution be distributed
in accord with the law.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 3rd day of August, 1976 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES: None
