A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
MENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AND THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO FOR MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECT
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING AN AGREE-
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREE-
MENT.
WHEREAS, on August 17, 1976, the City Council approved an
agreement with the County of San Diego for Wanaqement and Im-

plementation of a Community Development Block Grant Project and
authorizing the Mayor to execute said agreement; and
WHEREAS, that agreement authorized the release of Community
Development Block Grant Funds for the construction of 37 wheel
chair ramps in the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the aforementioned agree-
ment to authorize the construction of two additional wheel chair
ramps located at the northeast intersection of Juniper Avenue and I1 Carlsbad Blvd. and the northeast intersection of Tamarack Avenue
and Carlsbad Blvd.; and

WHEREAS, said construction will not exceed the grant amount
allocated for the project by the Federal Department of Housing and

Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the additional wheel chair ramps will be a substan- 11 tial benefit to handicapped and elderly residents of the Inner 24 11 city . 25
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the agreement between the City of Carlsbad and the

of a Community Development Block Grant Project, which was approved
by City Council Resolution #3991, is hereby amended to allow con-
struction of wheel chair ramps at the northeast corner of Juniper
Avenue and Carlsbad Blvd. and the northeast corner of Tamarack
Avenue and Carlsbad Blvd.
2. That the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby author-
ized and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of
the City of Carlsbad. an adjourned PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at / regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the -- 25th
day of October , 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
