HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-12-07; City Council; Resolution 40491 2 3 4 5 6 7 e 9 1c 11 12 1s 2c 21 22 2: 24 25 2E 27 2E RESOLUTION NO. 4049 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY. WHEREAS, on November 17, 1976 Benjamin Pulido and Joel Pulido, through their Attorney, Thomas A. Mix, filed a claim against the City of Carlsbad in the amount of $150,000.00; and WHEREAS, State law requires that the City Council consider all claims and take action to approve, approve in part, or deny said claim; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the City Council has considered the facts and circumstances of the above-described claim. 3. That the City Council hereby denies said claim. 4. That the City Attorney is directed to forward, a copy of this resolution to the claimants and to the City's insurance Carrie and to comply with all other notice requirements provided by law. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City c Carlsbad, California at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of December , 1976 by the following vote, to wit: AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Packard, Skotnicki and NOES : None Councilwoman Casler ABSENT: Councilman Lewis ROBRT C.
