RESOLUTION NO. 4086
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF INITIATING
PARAMEDIC SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized and directed the
:ity Manager to initiate paramedic service in the City of Carlsbad;

WHEREAS, the initiation of paramedic service requires training
)f Fire Department personnel: and
WHEREAS, such training creates additional costs for hiring of
tdditional personnel, overtime compensation and the acquisition of
:ertain materials and supplies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
:ity of Carlsbad, as follows:
1. That the above statements are true and correct.
2. That the City Council authorizes and directs the transfer
If funds in the amount of $60,000 from the General Fund Account
L-000-900 to the Fire Department Accounts 1-120-1110 and 1-120-1120,
tor the purpose of initiating paramedic service.
3. That the Department of Finance Request for Transfer of
ippropriation No. 21 is on file in said department and incorporated
iy reference herein is approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Iounci1 on the 1 st day of February , 1976 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and Counci 1 woman Cas1 er NOES : None
