RESOLUTION NO. 5009
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
(GPA-40, 43 AND 44) TO CHANGE THE LAND
USE DESIGNATION FOR SIX AREAS OF THE
CITY'S GENERAL PLAN. APPLICANTS: PEGGY
HADLEY (GPA- 4 0) , CITY OF CARLSBAD (GPA- 4 3 )
AND L. BRUCE STALLARD (GPA-44) .
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold duly noticed
public hearings as prescribed by law to consider amendments to
the Land Use Element of the General Plan on January 12, 1977
(GPA-40) and February 9, 1977 (GPA-43 and 44); and
WHEREAS, ;the Planning Director has determined that said
amendments will h.ave a nonsignificant impact on the environment
and a Negative Declaration has been prepared and filed in satis- '~
faction of the requirkments of the Citv of Carlsbad Environmental
Protection Ordinance ofj1972 and the California Environmental
Quality Act; and

'\ \i \ WHEREAS, the City Couh,Fil, on February 1, 1977 and on
\ March 1, 1977 held duly advertvsed public hearings to consider
said amendments and at said time$, received the recommendations,
objections , protests and comments &\ all individuals and parties '\
