A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE CITY TO INVITE BIDS FOR PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, has determined that it is necessary and in the
public interest to acquire playground equipment; and

WHEREAS, specifications for said playground equipment
have been prepared and have been filed in the office of the

City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated herein
by reference;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the specifications as presented are hereby
approved.
3. That the Purchasing Agent of the City of Carlsbad

is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to publish in
accordance with law, notice to vendors inviting for bids

accordance with the specifications hereinabove referred to.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 5th
day of April , 1977, by the following vote,to wit:

NOES: None.
Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Skotnicki, Packard and Councilwoman
Cas1 er.
ABSENT: None. 1 ROBERT C. FRAZEE, ayor
