RESOLUTION NO. 5044
A RES UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECI-
FICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE
BIDS FOR CONTRACT NO. 1039.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined that it is necessary and in the public interest to re-
surface and chip seal various City streets; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all
labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation and other ex-
pense necessary or incidental for said project, Contract No.1039,
have been prepared and filed in the Engineering Department of the
City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans and specifications as presented are
hereby approved.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
authorized and directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with
law, notice to contractors inviting bids for resurfacing and chip
sealing of various City streets, hereinafter described, in
accordance with the plans and specifications hereabove referred tc
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of
April, 1977 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
