RESOLUTION NO. 5357
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA
PROVIDING FOR A COORDINATED PROGRAM
OF PROPOSED PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 65401 provides for the
)reSaration of a coordinated program for proposed public works: and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has officially adopted a
;enera1 Plan: and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 65401 provides that the
roverning bodies of any special district or school district whose
lurisdiction lies wholly or partially within the city and whose
iunctions include recommending, preparing plans for, or constructin
iajor 2ublic works, shall submit a list of the proposed public work
-ecomiiended for planning, initiation, or construction during the
msuing fiscal year to an agency designated by the City Council; an
WHEREAS, the agency receiving the list of public works shall
)repare a coordinated program of proposed public works to be
;ubmitted to the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad for
-eview and report as to conformity with the General Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
)f Carlsbad, California as follows:
1. Special districts and school districts located wholly or
Iartially within the City of Carlsbad shall submit a list of
>rogosed public works recommended for planning, initiation, or
:onstruction during the ensuing fiscal year to the City Council of
;he City of Carlsbad.
2. The list shall be submitted prior to May 1 each year.

3. The City Manager shall cause to be prepared, a coordinated
submittal to the Planning rogran of proposed public works for
Jornmission.
4. The Planning Commission sha 1 review the coordinated
rogram for conformity to the General Plan of the City of Carlsbad.
ind shall report its findings to the City Council.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
larlsbad City Council held the 19th day of Apri 1 1977
