RESOLUTION NO. 5067 -
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR
CONTRACT NO. 1038 - PAINTING CITY LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
letermined that it is necessary and in the public interest to
)aint the City Library; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of
111 labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and other
!xpense necessary or incidental for said project, Contract No.1038,
lave been prepared and filed in the Engineering Department of the
5ty of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
2f Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the specifications as presented are hereby approvt
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
3uthorized and directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with
law, notice to contractors inviting bids for painting City Library
hereinafter described, in accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations hereabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held the 3rd day of
May , 1977 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT: None
