WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council concurs that the City of Carlsbad's Classification and Salary Range Schedule for Police and Fire Employees be amended by the deletion of the present classification description for COMMUNICATION OPERATOR, to be replaced by a new description with more appropriate employment standards for a COMMUNICATION OPERATOR; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows: 1. That the above facts are true and correct. 2.
