RESOLUTION NO. 5 1 2 0
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT NO. 1041 FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER, SIDEWALK,
DRIVEWAYS, AND CROSS GUTTER AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad
for construction of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways,
ind cross gutter at various locations, Contract No. 1041; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this construction was
submitted by G. Spikes, Masonry and Cement Contractor, in the
imount of $46,426.50; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $50,000.00 were budgeted
-n FY 76-77 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
:ity of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $46,426.50 by G. Spikes, Masonry and Cement
lontractor of San Diego, for Contract No. 1041 for construction of
:urb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, and cross gutter at various
locations is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are
iereby authorized to execute a contract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
lity Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 21St day of
June , 1977 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES:
NOES : None.
ABSENT: Councilman Skotnicki .
Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard and Councilwoman Casler.
