A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE FOURTH
AMENDMENT TO REFUSE COLLECTION AGREEMENT OF OCTOBER 1, 1971, BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
AND DISPOSAL OF REFUSE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
AND MCDOUGAL SANITATION, Irx. FOR THE COLLECTION
Agreement dated October 1, 1971, between the City of Carlsbad and
McDougal Sanitation, Inc. doing business as Coast Waste Management,
for the collection and disposal of refuse, a copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby
approved.
2. The Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized
and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City
of Carlsbad. an adjourned PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at I regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the20th day

a FOURTH AMENDMENT TO REFUSE COLLECTION AGREEMENT DATED OCTOBER 1, 1971 , FOR THE CITY OF, CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA.

This FOURTH AMENDMENT TO REFUSE COLLECTION AGREEMENT is
entered into this 20th day of - July
McDougal Sanitation, Inc. now doing business as Coast Waste Management,
1977 by and between
a California Corporation, and the City of Carlsbad:
WITNESSETH :
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad arid McDougal Sanitation, Inc.
now doing business as Coast GJaste Management, have entered into a
contract for the collection and disposal of refuse, garbage, waste
and other forms of solid waste or trash in the City of Carlsbad
dated October 1, 1971 ; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad and McDougal Sanitation, Inc.
now doing business as Coast Waste Management have amended said contract
by agreeing to a first amendment dated December 4, 1973; a second
amendment dated January 21, 1975; and a third amendment dated December
7, 1976; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties hereto that said
contract as amended be further amended as herein after provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, is agreed as follows:
1. Paragraph 4 of said contract as amended is further
amended to read as follows:
"4. RATES: Collector agrees to accept from custoniers as full compensation for the collection and disposal
of refuse and garbagd sum; stated in Resolution
No.5152 adopted by the City Council on the 70th day of July herein by reference. "

their names and caused these presents to be executed in the City of
