5207 RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF LIGHTING
AT CHASE LITTLE LEAGUE FIELD CONTRACT NO. 1042
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined that it is necessary and in the public interest to
install lighting at Chase Little League Field; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing
of all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation and
other expense necessary or incidental for said project, Contract
No. 1042, have been prepared and filed in the Engineering De-
partment of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by refer-
ence herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct;
2. That the plans and specifications as presented are
hereby approved;
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed to publish, in accor-
dance with law, notice to contractors inviting bids for installa-
tion of lighting at Chase Little League Field, in accordance
with the plans and specifications hereabove referred to.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held the 20th
day of September , 1977, by the following vote
to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and Councilwoman Casler
NOES : None
ABSENT : Councilman Frazee
