RESOLUTION NO. 521 d
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS CONTRACT NO. 1040
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined that
it is necessary and in the public interest to construct sidewalks at various
locations; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor,
material, tools, equipment, transportation and other expense necessary or
incidental for said project, Contract No. 1040, have been prepared and filed
in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by
reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
I. That the above recitations are true and correct;
2. That the plans and specifications as presented are hereby approved;
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized
and directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to con-
tractors inviting bids for construction of sidewalks at various locations in
accordance with plans and specifications hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 4th day of October , 1977, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
