RESOLUTION NO. 5252
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT NO. 1043 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE OCEAN STREET SEWER
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for construction
of the Ocean Street Sewer, Contract No. 1043; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this construction was submitted by
Christeve Corporation in the amount of $209,325; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $192,000 were budgeted in FY 1977-78
for this project; and
WHEREAS, a Federal grant in the amount of $189,315 has been accepted by
the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
The bid of $209,325 by Christeve Corporation of Arcadia, California,
for Contract No. 1043, for construction of the Ocean Street Sewer, is hereby
accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a
contract following approval of the Contractor by the Economic Development
Adm i n i strati on.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad held the 15th day of November , 1977, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard and Skotnicki and
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
