RESOLUTION NO. 5253
A -RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A
CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY.
WHEREAS, on November 2, 1977 Robert Swayne Washam filed a
:laim against the City of Carlsbad in the amount of $237,170.00; anc
WHEREAS, State law requires that the City Council consider all
:labs and take action to approve, approve in part, or deny said
Aaim;
NOW, THEMFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
!ity of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council has considered the facts and
:ircumstances of the above-described claim.

That the City Council hereby denies said claim.
That -the City Attorney is directed to forward a copy
,f this resolution to the claimant and to the City's insurance
zarrier and to comply with all other notice requirements provided
~y law.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
3f Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the 15th day
3f November , 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
