RESOLUTION NO. 5258
I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CITY PARTICIPATION IN THE FEDERAL SURPLUS
PERSONAL PROPERTY PROGRAM, DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER AS THE CITY'S REPRESEN- ~
TATIVE.
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council to partkcipate I
in the Federal Surplus Personal Property Program as authorized
by Public Law 94-519; and
WHEREAS, the City Council must designate a person or persons
authorized to accept federal surplus personal property for the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
Df Carlsbad as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to
submit the necessary application and tpis resolution with its
attachment, which is made a part hereof, to the State of C'alifornia
Department of Education, to insure the city's participation in the
Federal Surplus Personal Property Program.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 22nd day of November , 1977, I
by the following vote, to wit:

Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT: None
