RESOLUTION NO. 5283
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE
REPLACEMENT OF CARPETING IN CITY COUNCIL CHAIJBERS
AND POLICE DEPARTMENT - CONTRACT NO. 1044
VEEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined that
it is necessary and in the public interest to replace the carpeting in the
Police Department and City Council Chambers; and
WHEREAS, specifications for the furnishing of all labor, material, tools,
equipment, transportation and other expense necessary or incidental for said
project, Contract No. 10.44, have been prepared and filed in the Public Works
Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
California, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the specifications as presented are hereby approved.
That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and
directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contractors
inviting bids for replacement of carpeting in the City Council Chambers and
Police Department, in accordance with the specifications hereinabove referred
to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the 3rd day of January , 1978, by
the following vote to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
