RESOLUTION NO. 5284
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFOWIA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT WITH RALPH ANDERSEN AND ASSOCIATES FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING
A CLASSIFICATION PLAN STUDY.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the need to
have the current City Classification Plan studied; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved funds for a
Classification Plan Study in the Fiscal Year 1977-78 Budget
of the Personnel Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the staff report
and concurs in the staff recommendations regarding a consultant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above statements are true and correct.
2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to
retain RALPH ANDERSEN AND ASSOCIATES as consultant to
accomplish a Classification Plan Study as outlined in the
Request For Proposal for a fee of $8,200.00. t.- -
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 3rd day of January , 1978,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT : None I , "'3
