RESOLUTION NO. 5287
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5263, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, THE 7TH DAY OF MARCH, 1978, BY REVISING SECTION 4 TO PROVIDE THAT POLLS WILL BE OPEN TO 8:OO O'CLOCK P.M. ON SAID DAY.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
that Section 4 of Resolution No. 5263 is hereby revised to read as
fol 1 ows :
"SECTION 4. That the polls for said election shall be
open at seven o'clock A.M. of the day of said election
and shall remain open continuously from said time until
eight o'clock P.M. of the same day when said polls shall
be closed, except as provided in Section 14436 of the
Elections Code of the State of California."
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad, California held on the 17th day of January,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
and Councilwoman Casler
