RESOLUTION NO. 5297
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA SELECTING
THE LOCAL PUBLIC ENTITY EMPLOYEES FUND
METHOD OF FINANCING THE CITY'S PARTICI-
PATION IN UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE.
WHEREAS, the city is required to participate in the
Unemployment Insurance Program as prescribed in Federal and State
Government law; and
WHEREAS, the city is provided an option in selecting the
method of financing such participation:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above facts are true and correct.
2. That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad authorizes
and directs the City Manager to elect and implement the city's
financing method for unemployment insurance as that of the
Local Public Entity Employees Fund method.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 7th day of February , 1978,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT : None
