RESOLUTION NO. 531 5
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. 1044 FOR RECARPETING THE
CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for recarpeting
Zity Council Chambers and Police Department, Contract No. 1044; and
WHEREAS the lowest responsive bid received €or this contract was submitted
by Empire Carpet Co., San Fernando, California, in the amount of $7,371.25; and
WHEREAS funds in the amount of $20,000.00 were budgeted in the 1977-78
fiscal year for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the bid of $7,371.25 by Empire Carpet Co., San Fernando, Cali-
fornia, for Contract No. 1044, for recarpeting City Council Chambers and Police
Department is hereby accepted, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
contract therefor. an adjourned
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at ;/. regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, held the 8th day of March , 1978,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
