RESOLUTION NO. 5360
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. 1046 FOR WIDENING OF PARK DRIVE
VALENCIA AVENUE TO KELLY DRIVE
WHEREAS bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for widening of
Park Drive from Valencia Avenue to Kelly Drive, Contract No. 1046; and
WHEREAS the low bid received for this construction was submitted by
Asphalt Service Co. of Oceanside in the amount of $46,808.78; and
WHEREAS funds in the amount of $50,000 were budgeted in fiscal year
1977-78 for this project;
NOW, THERE!FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as fol lows:
I. That l-he above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $46,808.78 by Asphalt Service Co. of Oceanside for Con-
tract No. 1046 for widening of Park Drive from Valencia Avenue to Kelly Drive
is hereby accepy-ed and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
a contract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad held the 4th day of April , 1978, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT: None
