RESOLUTION NO. 5362
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING CITY
CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR CLEANING OF DIGESTION TANK NO. 2
AT THE ENCINA WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACiLlTY
CONTRACT NO. 1051
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is
necessary and in the public interest to clean Digestion Tank No. 2 at the
Encina Water Pol I ution Control Faci I ity; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor, ma-
terials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other expense necessary or in-
cidental for said project, Contract No. 1051, have been prepared and filed in
the Office of I-he Encina Plant Manager in the City of Carlsbad and are in-
corporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carls-
bad, as foEIows:
I. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the specifications as presented are hereby approved.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and
directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contractors
inviting bids for cleaning Digestion Tank No. 2 in accordance with the plans
and specifications hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular mtseting held the 4th day of April , 1978, by the fol-
lowing vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear and
NOES : None
Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT : None KME RONALD C. PACKARD, Mayor
