A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE SERRA COOPERATIVE LIBRARY - SYSTEM ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is a member of the Serra
Cooperative Library System;
WHEREAS, the California Library Services Act provides that
each Cooperative Library System shall establish an Advisory
Board; and
WHEREAS, the governing body of each member jurisdiction of
the Cooperative Library System shall appoint one member to the
Advisory Board from among its residents; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That PATRA STRAUB is hereby appointed
to the Serra Cooperative Library System Advisory Board for an
initial term as prescribed by Section 18749 of the Education Code.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the
18th day of Apri 1 , 1978.

NOES: None Councilwoman Casler
