RESOLUTION NO. 5386
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS TO RESTORE
STREETS AND ROADS DAMAGED BY STORMS TO
ORIGINAL CONDITION CONTRACT NO. 1052.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
letermined it is necessary and in the public interest to restore
storm damaged streets (Hosp Way from El Camino Real to 620'+ -
sesterly, Ani]-lo Way from Palacio Drive to 350'+ - westerly, Kelly
]rive at intersection of Park Drive and at Kelly Drive at inter-
section of Hil-lside Drive, Corintia Street from Cazadero Drive to
Brgonauta Street) ; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all
labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other
expenses necessary or incidental for said project, Contract No.
1052, have been prepared and filed in the Public Works Department
of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct;
2. That the plans and specifications as presented are
hereby approved;
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
authorized and directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with
law, notice to contractors inviting bids for the street and road
restorations noted above, in accordance with the plans and
specifications hereinabove referred to.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
18th day of Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held the
of fiprj1 , 1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear and Councilwoman Casler
NOES : None
ABSENT : None
